Whether it is a PLC, book club, or grade-level meeting, we need to learn to be more transparent. We should not have to teach alone.
Teachers meet with me during their planning periods or on the day we all have to stay late each week. We just have to plan it!
Sandi
Literacy MinuteSCTigerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04022505143719110130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9067208550306577321.post-4441796514399313242012-04-21T08:01:40.422-07:002012-04-21T08:01:40.422-07:00I know! :) How do we find time? This has been so much fun for me- I can't believe that we only have ONE more Saturday! :)Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01992369365034263003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9067208550306577321.post-78222218025378847772012-04-21T07:48:55.428-07:002012-04-21T07:48:55.428-07:00Yes, I would hope we can call each other friends! ...Yes, I would hope we can call each other friends! I just love this quote. As teachers, we all have to shut our doors and teach. We don't have the time, as you have stated, to talk to one another. I am the only one in my building doing my job, so I don't have a partner to bounce ideas with. But I thrive on that. I love to learn from one another and that keeps me excited for my job! This explosion of blogs has helped make that so much easier!
Lori
Conversations in LiteracyLorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14511344892381128298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9067208550306577321.post-48482909524017909482012-04-21T07:44:09.581-07:002012-04-21T07:44:09.581-07:00Hi friend. Next year, every Wednesday will be an early release so we can collaborate, and the district is also wanting us to be a PLC. (I might need your help figuring out exactly what that looks like. We don't know much about it yet, and it's a little fuzzy in my brain at the moment.) I love collaborating with bloggers like you! Thank you for another wonderful Saturday Saying.
❀ Tammy
Forever in FirstTammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18053983168084838303noreply@blogger.com
